Johan Stengård

Johan Stengård is one of the premiere saxophone players of Sweden, and he swings like an American when playing jazz standards and popular music. With 17 completed solo albums and appearances on more then 400 recordings, hundreds of television and live shows with noted artists such as Michael Bolton, ABBA, Celine Dion, Pete Cetera, Lena Horne, and Sammy Davis, Jr. Johan Stengård has worked with a lot of greats to say the least.

His performances entail a mix of pop favorites, jazz standards and original compositions. He has earned a world-class reputation for turning “Somewhere over the Rainbow” into a smouldering salute to the yellow brick road and leaving audiences breathless with “Amazing Grace”.

Thru the last years, Johan has been the King and Queen of Sweden’s first choice to perform for them on official state visits. Johan has also been formally invited by the Thailand government to perform them as well.
